Lately, my personal life has looked a little different than you might expect! If you’ve been on this journey with me for a while, you probably remember a few key moments:
But here’s something I haven’t always had throughout that time: community. Even with all the amazing experiences, I didn’t feel like I had a solid group of people who truly lifted me up consistently—until the past two years.
It all started with a random invite to a girls' trip 🏖 with my best friend, Marissa. We ended up merging some of our friends, and boom—an incredible crew of motivating women was born! We lift each other up, go on adventures, and have fun together.
Now, I’ve also become part of another community: the dog park crew 🐾. Different ages, different occupations, but we all come together with our dogs to laugh, share stories, and build amazing friendships. We even have a dog park group chat—and yes, we took the dog friends out of the park and into the real world for a pool day! 💦
What I’ve learned is that community is a powerful force. It brings you back to the present, reminds you to put work down, and allows you to be surrounded by incredible people who want the best for you.
