Let’s be real—this phrase can sound harsh at first, but it’s actually the most empowering realization you can have: YOU are the hero of your own story.
We often wait for someone to swoop in and fix everything, whether it’s our fitness, career, or mindset. But here’s the truth: no one can create your transformation for you. You’re in the driver’s seat, and your coaches are here as your guide.
Think of it like a road trip: Your coach provides the map and helps you chart the best route to your destination. But along the way, there might be detours—snowstorms, flat tires, or unexpected roadblocks. That’s where your guide steps in, helping you navigate those challenges and make empowered decisions to keep moving forward.
I’ve been there. After tearing my ACL on national TV, I felt completely defeated. I wanted someone to fix it all for me; to tell me everything would be okay. But no one was coming to save me. I had to decide to get up, find my way, and take back my power.
The same thing happened when I had to close my gym. I was scared, uncertain, and desperate for a solution. Once again, I realized I had to step up, take ownership, and rebuild. That choice led me to create a six-figure online fitness business, empowering people like you to rewrite their own stories.
1️⃣ “I don’t have the money.”
Investing in yourself is priceless. At one point, spending $20k on a mentor felt impossible for me—but it gave me years back in my life, business, and body. I’ve learned to prioritize where my money goes: I don’t spend on fancy shoes or unnecessary things. I spend on experiences and anything that helps me grow personally or professionally. Most importantly, I invest in tools that give me my time and brainpower back, so I can be present and fully enjoy my life. You are worth the investment.
2️⃣ “I don’t have the time.”
We all have the same 24 hours. The question is, how are you using them? A few focused hours a week can change your life. Are you stuck trying to do something that used to work for you but no longer fits? Instead of forcing old methods, think about how you can create something that blends seamlessly into your current lifestyle—not the other way around.
3️⃣ “I’ll start when it’s the right time.”
Here’s the truth: It’s never going to be the “perfect” time. Life will always throw something your way. The best workout routine—or personal growth journey—is one that starts when things are a bit chaotic. Why? Because it needs to fit into your life as it is now, not some imaginary, balanced future. There’s no such thing as work-life balance; there’s only work-life integration.
