I debated whether to share the news of my recent break-up, but then I realized someone out there might relate. I don’t write these newsletters for sympathy but to share the lessons and insights I gain. Maybe you'll find a nugget of wisdom to help you navigate life's challenges.
This break-up was unlike any I've experienced before—it was mutual. Yet, even mutual decisions are emotionally draining. You grieve the life you envisioned, the relationship, and the loss of a wonderful family. π
In the coming weeks, I'll juggle my usual workload while preparing to move again. Fortunately, I'm staying in the same complex but moving to another unit. Still, it's disruptive. After years of travel and adventure, I'm grateful for a home of my own, though the moving process is always stressful. π
Despite hosting the largest Pull-up Workshop ever and landing my dream gig in NYC, I've taken time to grieve this loss. π
1οΈβ£ Having a “hard conversation” doesn’t have to be hard. In this relationship, we communicated openly without feeling put down.
2οΈβ£ I learned what it’s like to live with someone. Living with a partner reveals a lot about yourself and your needs. π‘
3οΈβ£ I felt safe with a partner while maintaining my independence. We trusted each other and encouraged independent growth. π€
You might wonder why we split if it was such a great relationship. The mutual decision came from caring about each other's happiness. We had different goals for the near future, and we'd rather see each other happy than hold each other back. π
I'm not planning to date. Turning 34 on June 1st, my goal is to have a 'hot girl summer'—but not the way you might think:
1οΈβ£ Focus on myself, settle into my space, and take myself out on dates. πβοΈ
2οΈβ£ Pour into my business and my amazing clients and students, helping people around the world. π
3οΈβ£ Bond with my dog Pepper and take her on adventures. πΆ
4οΈβ£ Travel the world—I want to see the Northern Lights. π
5οΈβ£ Achieve stability and independence to buy a house in the next few years. π‘
If someone enriches my life while I focus on myself, that's great. But I'm not actively seeking a relationship. I have all I need, and anyone who enters my life needs to be amazing. π

I'm thrilled to have shared numerous drills and tips to help you reach your pull-up aspirations.
