The Power of Delusional Action

This week, we’re diving into taking delusional action. Not just any action—the kind that defies logic, pushes past doubt, and gets you moving even when you don’t have all the answers yet.

What Is Delusional Action?

You ever catch yourself stuck in your head? Overthinking every scenario, spiraling into worst-case thinking, convincing yourself that something is impossible before you even try?

And then before you know it, days, weeks, months go by and… you haven’t moved.

Here’s the truth:

πŸ’‘ Movement disrupts doubt.
πŸ’‘ Taking action—even when it feels a little crazy—is the only way forward.

Let’s talk about what delusional action really means.

πŸ‘‰ It’s deciding to go for it—even when you’re scared.

Because let me tell you something:

🎯 You will never feel 100% ready.
🎯 You will never have all the answers.
🎯 And if you wait until you do, you’ll never start.


How to Start Taking Delusional Action (Even When You’re Scared)

1. Start with ONE small action.

Not 10. Not 5. Just one.

We overcomplicate everything, but progress happens one tiny move at a time.

βœ”οΈ Want to get your pull-up? Start with hanging
βœ”οΈ Want to launch a business? Buy the domain name.
βœ”οΈ Want to get out of a rut? Go for a 5-minute walk.

One action. That’s it.


2. Make it stupidly simple.

If it’s too complicated, you won’t do it.

The key? Lower the barrier to entry.
Instead of saying, “I’ll work out for an hour,” start with one exercise.
Instead of saying, “I need the perfect plan,” start with one tiny move forward.

Perfection is the enemy of progress. Keep it simple and just GO.


3. Celebrate every tiny win.

Don’t just celebrate the BIG moments—celebrate the small ones.

➑️ Did you show up? That’s a win.
➑️ Did you take a baby step? That’s a win.
➑️ Did you stop doubting yourself for five minutes? HUGE WIN.

The more you celebrate progress, the more you’ll fall in love with the process. And that’s how momentum builds.


πŸ”₯ My Personal Story of Delusional Action

I have so many stories of moments where I took action before I felt ready. But let me tell you about one of my favorites:

Back in 2016, I wanted to be on the cover of Oxygen Magazine.

So what did I do?

I Photoshopped myself onto the cover and sent it to EVERY email I could find at the magazine. Yep—accounting@, info@, literally all of them.

I followed up. Again and again.

For months, I heard nothing. Then finally—ONE reply.

The editor-in-chief invited me to a small feature shoot. Not the cover, but it was a start.

And that shoot?
πŸ“ It happened in a church basement.
πŸ“ I was modeling wrist exercises.

But guess what? That small, “delusional” action built a relationship that led to even bigger opportunities.

Fast forward to 2021… I got the cover.

5 years later.
After years of showing up, building relationships, and putting myself out there.

What if I never sent that email?
What if I never took that first step?
